Places to Go

Rocky Point Park

Another sun-shower day in the lower mainland – since we’re not made of marshmallows we decided to brave the few random raindrops and go out into the world for an adventure anyway.

This park is normally jam packed on summer evenings – especially weekend ones – so that the playground and water park are standing-room only. A little bit of grey sky and a raindrop or two made all the difference – we had the whole place to ourselves.

The park is always gorgeous, and maybe even more so when it isn’t overrun by people…

There are spaces to sit:

…and at the end of it all, things to eat!

After all that- there’s always room for ice cream

Moral of this story: into every summer vacation a little rain will fall! Fun will still be had, though, if you go in search if it…
