Icescapes…

Our fifth grade class, in addition to many other year end activities, has been working on gorgeous art studies of Lawren Harris’ Canadian arctic paintings. I have two prints hanging in my office and I find them endlessly refreshing when I am in need of “cooling down”. Harris’ work as part of the Group of Seven is as timeless and inspiring as the landscapes he worked to represent. They put me in awe of God and nature, and have clearly inspired our young students too…
