“Success is never so interesting as struggle.” (Willa Cather)
Life is never black and white.
Every single action or interaction requires varying levels of thought, reaction, adjustment, assessment – a shaded spectrum of mood, emotion and understanding.
Sometimes, though, black and white feels right.
Creativity and courage may both be born in black and white, but they are expressed in layers of light, shadows and shades of grey. There is no one way to be creative. There is no one way to be brave. The definition, as Willa Cather says, is in the struggle. Find your black. Find your white. Find your fulfillment in the tension and the struggle between the two.
